Egyptian star Mohamed Salah sent a hidden message to the Spanish club Atletico Madrid,
before the return leg at Anfield in the Champions League.
Salah had published, on Thursday, on his official account, two photos of him from the match that gathered his team,
Liverpool, with his Madrid host, which ended with the victory of Atletico with a clean goal
in the context of going to the final price round of the most powerful European football championships.
“The Anfield is waiting for you,” Mohamed Salah wrote under the two pictures in English.
A number of Liverpool stars had sent similar messages in earlier times,
as Adrian, Liverpool goalkeeper said in statements to the newspaper “Marca”,
“They should ask Barcelona, in Anfield, we do not lose anything.”
The Liverpool team beat Barcelona 4-0 in a historic Rimontada second leg Champions League final last season,
after losing in the “Camp Nou” against Barca 0-3.
“I think the fans are already preparing for the match after what they saw and our support to score a quick goal
and we hope that Atlético will not have much luck on this defense side,” Adrian added during his remarks.
Likewise, the coach of the team, Juergen Klopp, said that the matter is not over yet,
and stated after the match: “I think I have to be a motivation for the fans in the second leg. I will be focused on the match.
Our fans will be ready.
Liverpool will receive its rival, Atletico Madrid, in the return leg at Anfield Stadium, on March 11.
Liverpool will have to win by two goals, or win 1-0 and then settle the match in the additional two halves or a penalty shootout.
