Bayern Munich, leaders of the Bundesliga, missed their lead twice and needed a two-minute-ahead goal through Robert Levandowski
to beat their 3-2 unbeaten guest Paderborn on Friday.
The Bavarian club, which will face Chelsea in the first leg of the last sixteen European Champions League,
next Tuesday, raised its score to 49 points, 4 points ahead of Razen Palshort Leipzig,
who will face Schalke outside Saturday.
Bayern, who had expected a much easier confrontation before their flight to London, advanced through Serge Janabry in the 25th minute.
The guests tied 1 minute before the end of the first half when goalkeeper Manuel Noir made a huge mistake and failed to clear the ball
after he got out of the penalty area to be kidnapped by Dennis Serpini and put the ball between Noir’s feet before he hit the goal.
