Rainbow Six Siege is a network shooter game from
Ubisoft that has achieved a lot of success thanks to
its continuous support with free updates to add
customers and new maps to the experience that is
sold at a fixed price instead of following the free
games system for the usual gameplay of the genre
games.
In a new interview with the game director Leroy
Atanasoff, the director pointed out that the team
behind the game wants to convert it into a free
game system for future play, but they have to solve
some of the obstacles before that. Among those
obstacles are the professional players creating new
accounts and playing with a low rating and the
experience of these players will enable them to
Crush their newcomers opponents, which will
make the experience even harder for them.
One of the obstacles mentioned also is the decision
to switch to the free game system to play, this
decision is chosen by Ubisoft and the team is
simply not able to switch to this system without
obtaining approval to do so.
