In a new interview with Ignore, Elijah Freeman, head of
games for Virtuos, confirmed that the new generation
home appliances Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 will
offer worlds of gaming bigger than ever:
The increased technical power and speed for devices like
the Xbox Series X means that we’re going to get worlds
many times greater than what is currently in games, and
with more things happening in these worlds at the same
time. Players in these worlds will also be able to move
faster than ever before, if by driving a fast sports car or
flying from the back of a dragon, there may be no
loading screens at all.
Among the pivotal things that will get improvements,
effects such as fog, smoke and clouds, these are lights
that emit light and were previously found in the games
with varying results.
Well, it looks like the open world games will get a real
move with the capabilities of the new generation.
