In a new interview with Gabe Newell, president of
Valve, standing behind Steam Digital on the PC, Newell
talked about competition with the Epic Games digital
store, which pursues a fierce competition policy by
purchasing exclusive games for a year or several months
for some of the most popular and powerful games.
Newell stressed that Valve worried about
competition with Epic and the competition is great for
everyone, although things may seem ugly at first and the
company may look bad when comparing its store to Epic
Games, but very useful in the long run.
