Sony has published a new statement on its official
website talking about the impact of Virus Corona
on the company’s business, and confirms its
concern for the safety of employees and its
implementation of all necessary measures to
achieve this, including the closure of a number of
the company’s offices around the world in
America, Europe and Japan Transferring
employees to work from home, with the exception
of a select group of employees whose working
hours are necessary for the company’s activities.
Sony has 4 factories in China, and these factories
closed their doors when the virus spread there,
then it reopened again on February 10, even though
supply chain problems still exist. Sony also closed
a factory in Britain and two factories in Malaysia.
With regard to video games and the network,
which is the division that includes PlayStation
Trading, the company does not expect the current
fiscal year to be affected by what happened, but it
monitors the possibility of postponing addresses
from the first party as well as the third party from
the partners, mainly in Europe and America.
