The announcement of the injury of the Turkish football
legend came from his wife Asil’s deficiency on her
account on Instagram, where she said that he took
to the hospital after confirmed that he
infected with the virus, noting that the results of her tests
and the tests of her two children were negative.
“My husband Rosto took us to the hospital after he was
confirmed with the virus as Covid-19. After everything
was normal, we surprised to see symptoms appear
quickly on him,” said Aseel, on her Instagram account
last night.
Aseel noted that her 46-year-old husband, Rosto, is under
hospitalization, and that not allowed to visit him,
adding, “This is a very difficult and difficult period. I
pray for a speedy recovery for all patients, including my
husband.”
It is noteworthy that Rosto played 120 games with his
country, which is the most participating player at the
international level in Turkey, and he starred with the
team during Turkey’s qualification for the 2002 World
Cup semi-final.
Rosto has played for more than 10 years with the Turkish
club Fenerbahce, and also played for a short period with
Barcelona, and retired from football in 2012, after 5
years with the Besiktas team.
