Huang Xinghua, CEO of “Guangzhou R&F” club,
explained that the Chinese Football Premier League is
preparing to start at the end of June or early July K
without making a shortcut to the competition.
The league supposed to start on February 22nd,
but postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic,
which has infected more than 2.33 million people and
killed about 160,000 people worldwide.
China, where the new Coronavirus appeared near the
end of last year declared more than 82,000 people
infected and 4,632 killed.
“Based on an evaluation of the current situation, the new
season will start at the end of June or early July,”
Xinhua quoted Xinhua as saying on Sunday.
The Chinese Football Association has yet to announce a
date for the competition, with foreign travel restrictions
in place to try to contain the spread of the virus.
