Manchester United coach Olli Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that
his French player Paul Pogba is continuing with the team next
season, noting that he expects a “distinguished partnership”
between Pogba and Portuguese Bruno Fernandez in the middle
of the field.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Solskjaer said: “Outstanding
players always play alongside each other.”
He added: “Bruno Fernandez had an immediate impact on
the team, the club and the fans, it was a motivation for all,
with the return of Pogba and Rashford from injury, it would
be great,” according to the Spanish newspaper AS.
The management of the club “Red Devils” contracted the
Portuguese midfielder at the end of January, coming from
Sporting.
Immediately after joining the ranks of the Norwegian coach
battalion, he managed to enter the air quickly to provide an
outstanding performance on the offensive and defensive levels.
Since the Portuguese midfielder joined the English giant, he has
not played for a minute with Pogba because of the Frenchman’s
injury.
The Portuguese participated in nine games with a total of 667
minutes during which he scored three goals and passed the
same, while Pogba participated in only 8 games since the start of
the current season and did not score or pass any decisive balls
during them.
