The French Football Association announced today, Thursday,
that Killian Mbappe, the star of the Paris Saint-Germain team
crowned the local league title, was officially awarded the top
scorer in the 2019-2020 season, with 18 goals.
The league had ended the league competitions prematurely
at the end of last April, nearly a month and a half after it was
suspended due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus, and
it announced the coronation of the leader, Paris Saint-Germain,
with the title, although 10 stages remain on its actual end.
Although Mbabe tied Monaco player, Wissam Ben Yeder,
with the number of goals, the latter scored three goals from
penalty kicks, while the French national team did not score
any goal in the same way, which gave him the advantage.
The Argentine midfielder, Angela de Maria, was named the best
pass in the league with 14 assists during the season, beating
the Algerian Islam Soleimani of Monaco, and Yuan Cort
of Brest.
