The Spanish league president, “La Liga”, blew a loud surprise,
by announcing on Monday that the league competitions will be
held on a daily basis, upon its expected return in June.
The Spanish league president, Javier Tepas, indicated that
the league matches will be held daily for 35 consecutive days.
“I don’t know when the league will return, I hope we will go
back on June 12, but June 19 may be the possible date.
It depends on the situation of Corona,” Tepas told Movistar
station.
He added: “There will be league matches daily for 35
consecutive days, and we will also conduct virus checks
on players 24 hours before the start of each match.”
Javier Tepas noted that he believes that the likelihood of injury
is the “least” during the matches, and that the real fear of what
is happening outside the matches.
“We are in full control of the players during the games, but I
hope they will follow the same precautions in their homes,
” said Tepas.
Tepas stressed that he sees the “assumption of responsibility”
manifestations from the players, and hopes that the whole
society will follow their example during the Corona crisis.
And stopped the Spanish league last March, due to the outbreak
of the Corona virus, but the clubs decided to call all of their
players for training, a few days ago, with the easing of the
closure procedures in the country.
