Contrary to what was expected, Welsh winger Gareth Bale said
that the Real Madrid striker does not want to return to the
Premier League and may end his career with the royal squad.
Despite winning four UEFA Champions League titles with Real
Madrid, Bell did not agree due to his lack of commitment and
his many injuries.
The Welsh national star was close to moving to the Chinese
league last year, before negotiations suddenly stopped.
“Bill is enjoying a wonderful lifestyle. There is no reason why
he could not end his career in Madrid,” agent Jonathan Barnet
told BBC Radio.
He added: “Back and playing (in the Premier League) are not
possible. I don’t think he wants that at the moment. He is happy
to play in Madrid.”
Real Madrid will host his rival Eibar when the Spanish league
resumes on June 14, after 3 months of stopping due to the
Corona virus pandemic, but Bell appears to be outside the plans
of coach Zinedine Zidane.
