Argentine star Lionel Messi is preparing for the last renewal of
his contract, apparently with Barcelona, according to the sports
newspaper “Marca”.
The source pointed out that the two parties will start talks on
renewal during the next week, provided that they are
preliminary only at this time, as it is scheduled to hold the bulk
of the negotiations in the next season.
The club’s negotiations will be chaired by its president, Josep
Bartomeo himself, alongside CEO Oscar Grau, while Messi will
represent his father Jorge, who is also his agent.
The 33-year-old Barcelona legend takes place on the twenty-
fourth of June, so his next contract is likely to be the last in
“Camp Nou”.
The current contract of the Argentine star with his club ends in
the summer of 2021, knowing that he has an item that allows
him to leave for free at the end of the season, provided that the
administration is notified before the start of June.
“The flea” signed his last contract with Barcelona in 2017, and
although there are some problems between the player and the
administration recently, Messi’s permanent desire, which he
revealed repeatedly, is to retire with the bloggerana shirt.
During his 16-year career, Messi succeeded in winning 34
