Argentinian winger Lucas Ocampus performed admirably
to lead Sevilla to a 2-0 win over arch-rivals Real Betis on
Thursday, in the first match since the return of the Primera Liga
after a three-month hiatus due to the Corona virus pandemic.
Seville dominated the empty stands of the Sanchez Pizjuan
stadium, with fans banned for safety reasons.
The post replied Ocampos’ attempt in the first half before
the Argentine player gave his team a deserved lead from
a penalty kick in the 56th minute, then made the second goal
with an amazing heel pass to Fernando to shake the net
6 minutes later.
Seville tightened its grip on third place after the team of coach,
Julian Lopetegi, raised his score to 50 points from 28 games,
and Betis remained in 12th place with 33 points.
