Real Madrid won 2-0 at home to Real Mallorca on Wednesday,
thanks to the goals of Vinicius Jr. and Sergio Ramos, as
the team continued to outpace Barcelona in the struggle for
the title competition.
The young Brazilian, Vinicius, opened the scoring to the owner
of the land for 19 minutes to make up for wasting an early
opportunity. The crossbar also rejected another attempt at him
at the end of the first half.
Commander Ramos doubled the progress of Real from
a wonderful free kick and placed it over the wall in the upper
corner, to raise his score to 8 goals in the league, and 10 in all
competitions this season.
Mallorca striker Luca Romero, 15, became the youngest player
to play in a league match when he came on as a substitute.
This is the fourth successive victory achieved by Real Madrid
since the resumption of the competition to top the championship
with 68 points from 31 games, ahead of the difference of direct
confrontations against Barcelona.
