Algerian midfielder Ismail Ben Nasser scored his first goal
in the calcio to lead Milan to a 5-1 victory over Bologna at
the San Siro stadium, on Saturday, in the 34th round of
the Italian League.
Milan has regained some memories on the ground of its
stadium, which its fans have long described as “Grande Milan”,
meaning the great Milan in the shadow of a constellation of
stars that have gathered and the titles that come true.
Alexis Salimakers hit the net for the first time with Milan
as well, while the rest of the goals came through Hakan
Chalhanoglu, Ante Rebeche and David Yekalabria after
a wonderful show and the team could have won by a bigger difference.
Milan has 56 points from 34 games and strengthened its position
in sixth place, the last qualifying seats for the European League,
and has continued to score two or more goals in the last 8 games
of the league since the competition resumed.
Bologna, tenth place with 43 points, appeared modestly and
made few chances, but scored before the break by Japanese
international defender Takihiro Tomiyasu, who scored for
the first time with the club.
The result confirmed the continued improvement with Coach
Stefano Biolevi, the offensive performance, with an attempt to
qualify for the European Championship next season.
