It seems that the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo will not
intend to stop soon dazzling football fans around the world after
he made a “historic achievement” in his team’s Juventus match
against Lazio, on Monday, in the Italian league.
Ronaldo, 35, scored Juventus’ goals in a 2-1 win over Lazio
in a match that brought the “old lady” team back to the winning
streak, and brought him close to the ninth “Serie A” title
in a row.
But Ronaldo will not forget this match, which put him on top of
the scorers of the standings with 30 goals, in conjunction with
Lazio striker Ciro Imobili, for another completely personal
reason, after seeing the “Don” breaking 3 “historical” numbers
in the history of Juventus and the Italian league.
Ronaldo, who joined Juventus in the summer of 2018, became
the first player to score 50 goals in both the leagues in England,
Spain and Italy, respectively.
He became the fastest player to score 50 goals in the Italian
league (61 games), and he was ahead by a large margin, former
Milan star Andriy Shevchenko, who scored the same number
in 68 games.
Ronaldo also became the first player in the history of Juventus
to score 30 goals in one season in nearly 70 years, specifically
the first after the Danish John Hansen (30 goals in the season
1951-1952).
