“After three years and five titles … Blaise Matwiti and Juventus
are depositing each other after the joint agreement to terminate
the player’s contract,” which lasted until 2021, the northern club
said in a statement.
The World Cup-winning player with his country in 2018 arrived
in Russia to Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, and
during that period he won three league titles, the cup and the Super Cup.
Matuidi, 33, has played 133 matches for “The Old Lady” in all
competitions, including 88 in the Italian League.
Several press reports indicated that his next destination will be
Inter Miami, who competes in the American League and is
owned by former English football star David Beckham, a year
before the European Cup, which was postponed from this year
to 2021 due to the emerging Corona virus.
