Inter Milan striker Alexis Sanchez said he wanted to leave his
former club, Manchester United, after his first training session
with the team.
United signed the Chilean international player in January 2018,
after he scored 80 goals in 3 and a half seasons, with Arsenal of
London, but he failed to achieve a similar achievement with the
“Red Devils” under the leadership of Jose Mourinho, only five
goals in 45 games.
Sanchez, who had previously played for Barcelona, joined Inter
Milan on loan at the start of the 2019-2020 season, before the
Italian club signed him on a 3-year permanent contract last August.
Sky Sports quoted Sanchez as saying on Instagram: “I agreed to
the opportunity to sign Manchester United as it seemed tempting
and it was a good step for me, but I did not try to find out what
was happening in the club’s scenes. Sometimes there are things
that can only be known by whoever.” During my encounter with
her. I remember the first training I participated in, where
I realized many things. ”
“After the training, I went home and told my family and my
agent, can the contract be torn off and back to Arsenal, and they
laughed. I told them something is not right. Something that
doesn’t look good,” Sanchez added.
“But I actually signed the contract and moved to the club.
This feeling continued for the first few months. The team was
not united at this time,” he concluded.
