Bayern Munich crowned German Super Cup champion,
on Wednesday, with a “difficult” victory over its rival Borussia
Dortmund 3-2 at the top of the “Allianz Arena” in Munich,
achieving its fifth title this year, to continue its path
successfully towards a historic sixth.
Frenchman Corentin Tolisso (18), Thomas Muller (32) and
Joshua Kimmich (82) scored the goals of the Bavarian giants,
while Julian Brandt (39) and the Norwegian Erling Haaland
(55) scored the two goals for Dortmund.
Bayern Munich has previously won the domestic league and cup
titles, the European Champions League at the expense of Paris
Saint-Germain, and the European Super League at the expense
of Seville, while the club has the World Cup title that may not
hold this year due to the Corona pandemic.
