City is close to the final price of the European Champions

City is close to the final price of the European Champions
Manchester City put ahead in the final price by defeating Greek

Olympiakos 3 – zero in the third round of the third group in the

UEFA Champions League group tournament.

Spaniard Fernan Torres (12), Brazilian Gabriel Jess (81) and

Joao Cancelo of Portugal scored (90)

It is the third successive victory for City, with it raising its score

to nine points in first place, three points ahead of Porto, who

won his turn 3-0 at Marseille, while Olympiacos’s balance was

frozen at three points, and Marseille’s balance remained without

points after suffering a third loss.

City have only scored four goals in their last nine matches (in all

competitions) following their loss to Leicester City 2-5 in the league,

six of which have kept clean sheets.

It is noteworthy that the Spanish coach Josep Guardiola’s team

scored three goals in each of its three matches, and only

conceded one goal.

Torres opened the scoring after a pass by Belgian Kevin De Bruyne,

and he kicked it between the feet of Portuguese goalkeeper Jose Sa (12).

Torres became the third-youngest player to score in four

consecutive matches in the history of the Champions League

at the age of 20 years and 248 days, after Frenchman Kylian

Mbappe (18 years and 120 days) and the Norwegian Erling

Haaland (19 years and 107 days).

De Bruyne proved once again that he was one of the best players

at the moment, with a new decisive pass that went to Jesus, who

hit the roof of the net (81).

Cancelo finished the hat-trick after he advanced the ball from

the right side and hit his left a ball from outside the penalty area (90).

Porto beat French hosts Marseille 3-0.

Mali Moussa Marega (4), Sergio de Olvera (28 penalty) and

Colombian Luis Diaz (69) scored.

And the task of the French team became almost impossible after

suffering a third loss, so that its players did not even succeed in

scoring any goal.
