Real Madrid star Eden Hazard conducted a series of tests,
Monday, to find out the seriousness of the muscle injury he
suffered on Saturday, during the royal team’s 1-2 loss at home
to Deportivo Alaves in the Spanish League.
However, the Spanish sports newspaper “AS” suggested that the
Belgian star will be absent from his team during 4 matches, the
most important of which is against Atletico Madrid in the capital’s
Derby after less than two weeks.
The newspaper revealed a “state of anxiety” within the team,
after Hazard suffered a new injury during his rare appearances
with the team due to his frequent absences.
And forced coach Zinedine Zidane to remove Hazard about half
an hour after the Alaves meeting, after he suffered an injury
that negatively affected the performance of the team, which is
currently ranked fourth in the league table.
In the press conference that followed the match, the French coach
said that Hazard was “uncomfortable” during the course of the match.
According to “AS”, it is likely that Hazard will miss the Champions League
matches against Shakhtar away from home on Tuesday, and
against Borussia Moenchengladbach in Madrid on December 9th.
In the domestic league, Hazard will not be able to participate in front
of Sevilla at his home on the fifth of December, or Atletico Madrid on the
twelfth of the same month at the Real Reserve stadium.
