The second part of the Metal Gear Solid series of games from
Konami released on the Playstation II under the title
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, dated November 29, 2001 in Japan.
The official Konami account on Twitter celebrates the 19th
anniversary of the release of the game, which received a lot of
admiration at the time and also a lot of anger after the players
discovered that Snake was not the main hero of the story:
