“Zoom”, a visual communication services company, has gained international fame after people were forced
to make their calls and meetings through this platform, due to the emerging coronavirus.
With the approaching 2021, the company is looking to expand into other markets and compete with huge
companies, especially CALENDAR email and calendar services.
“Zoom may launch an e-mail service on the web as early as next year, and implement the calendar in
the medium term,” The Information said.
Followers said that the new additions aim to compete with the two giants “Google” and “Microsoft”,
which provide both services.
Specialists in the technology world explained that the “Zoom” step comes at a time when the world has
begun the process of vaccination against Corona, on the horizon of a gradual return to normal life,
which means dispensing with virtual meetings and communications.
They stated, “For this, the company is looking for other competitive markets to maintain its viability and
expand its profits.”
It is noteworthy that more than 350 million subscribers use Zoom on a daily basis, which is a huge jump
compared to the same period last year, when the average daily number of users was about 10 million.
