Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved a new milestone on social media, with his Instagram account reaching
250 million followers.
The site “90min” said that the star of the Portuguese national team and Italian Juventus became the first
person to reach this number on the Instagram platform owned by Facebook.
He explained, “The number of Ronaldo followers on Instagram shows that he is one of the most famous
athletes on the planet … he has a great following and wide interaction.”
It is noteworthy that Ronaldo, aged 35, is also the most followed person on Facebook and the most followed
athlete on Twitter.
This achievement comes a few days after “Don” won the Player of the Century award for the period from 2001 to 2020.
Cristiano surpassed Messi, Brazilian Ronaldinho and Egyptian Mohamed Salah in this award.
