Dybala’s destination is a surprised strike
The newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport” confirmed that the Argentine star has decided his next destination,
after announcing his official exit from Juventus.
The newspaper said that the Argentine star decided to move to Inter Milan next season, after 7 seasons
he spent with the “old lady”.
Also, The president of Inter Milan, Giuseppe Marotta, confirmed the expectations, and announced that his team
would not mind signing Dybala, “who has special capabilities.”
For his part, Juventus Vice President, Czech Pavel Nedved, revealed that the financial factor played a role
in not renewing the contract of Argentine striker Paulo Dybala, which expires on June 30.
When asked why negotiations to renew Dybala’s contract were suspended, Nedved told Mediaset:
“It is difficult to answer this question specifically. We evaluated the player in all respects, what he offers
us on and off the field. Of course, his demands (Dybala) were very high, and this is something He’s right
because he’s a great player, but we didn’t feel ready to do that so it makes sense for each of us to go our own way.”
Dybala, 28, joined Juventus in 2015 and won the league title 5 times and the award for best player in
the 2020 season, and appointed deputy captain of the team at the beginning of the current season,
but his numerous absences due to injury affected his performance in the “Old Lady” squad.
Dybala’s choice of Inter considered a “strong blow” for the English clubs that have expressed interest
in contracting the Argentine star for free next summer.
Also, The British newspaper “The Sun” said that the new Manchester United coach, Dutchman Eric Ten Hag,
is a big fan of Dybala, and was among his plans for the team’s contracts next season.
Also, Tottenham Hotspur repeatedly tried to sign Dybala and failed, and the newspaper confirmed that
the club is still interested in the player now.
