Mourinho chooses the “dream team” he trained
After coaching some of the world’s best soccer players, veteran Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho
chose a “dream team” list of stars who played under his management during his career.
Mourinho, who coached Benfica, Leiria and Porto in Portugal, Chelsea, Manchester United and
Tottenham Hotspur in England, Inter Milan and Roma and Real Madrid in Spain, chose his team
with a 4-3-3 formation.
According to the Daily Mirror, Mourinho’s squad included Petr Cech (goalkeeper), Javier Zanetti,
John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, Ashley Cole (defense), Claude Makelele, Frank Lampard, Mesut Ozil (centre),
Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba and Cristiano Ronaldo (attack).
Brilliant names in the world of football were absent from Mourinho’s squad of coached players ,
such as Iker Casillas, Marcelo, Karim Benzema, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Samuel Eto’o, Wesley Sneijder
and Romelu Lukaku.
It is notice in Moreno’s list that there were 8 players trained by the Portuguese in his first period with Chelsea,
while Hazard trained in his second period in the London team.
