PlayStation Bend Studio Reveals its New Logo
Through the official PlayStation blog, Bend Studio unveiled its new logo 29 years after belonging to PlayStation
Studios.
How to build the Bend Studio logo inspired by the studio’s history of game development, which spanned
more than 29 years during which it gave many featured titles such as Syphon Filter, Resistance: Retribution,
Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Days Gone, which were linked to the site The designer on the logo described
Casey’s tea as follows:
“We have begun to create a new identity that is sophisticated, abstract and simple and high-tech engineering
characterized it, but also represent the constant movement of creativity. Ideally,
this the type of recognized logo for players on the street without the need for a text tag.
With these goals in mind, we demonstrate Bend Studio’s technical innovation with a directional look forward.
Letter shapes cut to run in parallel with the front edge of the outer symbol triangle but still maintain the stability
of our non-oblique average weight line. The Cascade symbol in the center of the symbol is an abstract
representation of many mountain peaks that form the center of our lives in central Oregon and determine our
horizon.
In addition,
a small separator in the letter “I” represents one of the chimneys of wood mills that speaks of Bend’s
history as a logging town before its current existence as a destination for outdoor enthusiasts. ”
Bend Studio is currently working on a whole new game project after Sony froze the Days Gone series,
stating that the new project is a multiplayer game (online), set in “the world of Days Gone” but will offer a different
gameplay experience as described.
