Stray

Stray

Stray, Who would have thought that a hero game would be this fun,

it’s a game that takes you on a beautiful artistic experience in

a futuristic world that raises questions. The idea of the game

depends on exploration, solving puzzles, and performing various

side quests. We spent the past few days trying it out and today

we present to you our full review of this unique game.

Stray

Stray

The game takes place in a futuristic world and after some natural disasters,

where you find traces of advanced technology, but also find a lot of nature

and trees. Our hero the cat will find himself getting to know a small flying

companion from the class of robots, and with him we will try to solve

the mystery of the strange world in which we find ourselves. The game

is technically wonderful, and it is the kind that you will enjoy its views

throughout the game and no matter how the environment changes,

and one of the very special environments for me is a city in the middle

of the events decorated with neon lights, as if it were Tokyo in the evening.

Also, there are very distinctive musical pieces that accompanied all parts

of the game and made entering into its atmosphere more impactful.

Our cat, the protagonist of the story, behaves as cats do in real life,

as the development team has mastered this in the game. He is fast

in movement, can jump high and climb platforms, and also plays with

what is around him. The game is somewhat restricted in terms of movement,

as it is in the style of the old Zelda games and does not allow you to jump

whenever you want to, but only when you reach the edge of the jump and

see the A button appear to give you permission to jump. This makes

the game somewhat easy in general, as you always know your way around

due to the instructions in the game.

Although the game is dominated by jumping on platforms and trying to reach

the other side to complete the march, but there are some puzzles from time to time,

nothing difficult or out of the ordinary, but a simple thing to move your mind

and add some variety. For example, on one of the roofs, I did not know how

to go further, until I saw a large barrel, and instead of jumping on it, I entered

its hollow and then rolled it until it reached the second end and used it to reach

a higher place. In addition to the puzzles, there are enemies in the game that

you have to use your abilities as a cat and escape from them, these clips are

very entertaining because the cat is fast and can dodge amazingly.

Finally there is also another type of gameplay, that of espionage,

where you have to use your hiding places to dodge some enemies and be discovered.

Later in the game you will get a greater variety than just exploration,

where you will meet a clan of robots that behave just like humans.

In this section of the game, you will get several missions from them,

some main and some side. Most missions will be requests to bring in

certain items in order to advance the mission. Not all of them are delivery

and receiving, but sometimes you will have to think indirectly and outside the box.

The game will take you about 8 hours to finish, and maybe more if you want

to get all the collectibles. I really miss games like Stray, where the game

is fun and well-balanced without exaggerating the length of the game

or being distracted by the intensity of the content. Stray may not bring

with it new ideas except for the protagonist of the game, but it provided

an interesting story, beautiful environments, and an entertaining gameplay system,

resulting in a distinguished journey with an unusual hero. Stray
