After 9 years full of titles with Real Madrid Isco to Seville
On Sunday, Seville announced that it had reached a preliminary
agreement to include playmaker and midfielder Isco for the next two seasons,
after the Spanish international became a free player since late June after the end
of his contract with Real Madrid.
And a statement from the Andalusian club on its official website read:
“We have reached a preliminary agreement with Isco, so that
the Andalusian midfielder will become our third deal.”
He added, “The striker is in Seville to undergo a medical examination
on Monday. If all goes well, he will sign a contract for the next two seasons,
” according to “AFP”.
This is the third deal for Sevilla, the fourth in the league last season,
this summer after the center of the Brazilian defense Marcao from
Galatasaray and his compatriot left-back Alex Telles, who arrived
on loan from Manchester United.
Isco will meet again with coach Julen Lopetegui, who supervised him
in Spain (2016-2018) and Real Madrid (2018).
Isco is no longer part of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti’s plans,
who did not use him much last season, as well as injuries to his back,
and he was satisfied with 17 games, including only three of them.
But he was a pivotal player in the team of French coach Zinedine Zidane,
who made history when he won the Champions League three times in
a row between 2016 and 2018.
Isco, who in 2012 won the “Golden Boy” award for the best player in
Europe under the age of 21, announced last May that he would leave
Real Madrid after nine years in the capital, during which he won 19 titles,
including three in the local league (2017, 2020 and 2022). and five in
the Champions League (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022).
