Dragon Quest Treasures
Here we are back in the beautiful world of Dragon Quest 11 but this time
in the past when Eric and his sister Maya were little kids venturing for treasures.
Dragon Quest Treasures is a sub-game in the series that takes place in the Draconia
Islands, which are different islands, each with its own climate and environment,
such as the island of fire, snow, desert, and others.
The style of play differed from the traditional RPG style of fighting to the fast kinetic style,
as Eric and Maya can execute a combo by continuing to press the strike button,
and this combo does not change or develop. Using monsters in combat, the game
will allow you to get the monsters you fight to join your group and then they will
help you in the fight so that you will control Barik or Maya and the monsters
controlled by the artificial intelligence in the game.

Dragon Quest Treasures
The beautiful thing is that there are various monsters in the game, some of
them share basic capabilities that are useful during exploration in the map,
some of them you can use to fly from a high place, and some of them you can
ride on and use to quickly navigate the map, and there are other benefits
of monsters that I will touch upon shortly.
Let’s talk now about the idea of the game and the goal that is in it. Eric and Maya
have to collect the treasures and build the largest squad of treasure hunters.
When you get a treasure on one of the islands, you will not be able to know its
value until after you return to the base island. A specific amount of treasures,
as well as the increase in rank, so you will get many advantages and developments
that will benefit you during the game.
In order to get treasures in the map, you must first search for them using the ability
of the compass in the game, and when you use it, the arrow will guide you to the location
of the treasure, and when you approach it, it will ask you to use the compass,
but this time you will use the vision ability that makes you see the location
of the treasure through the three monsters in your team, Each monster will have
a special view of the X location of the buried treasure, and three pictures will appear
on the screen.
When you collect treasures and return to the base, they will be converted into money
and used as experience points in the game. The more money you have in the bank,
the rank will rise and you will get new advantages and developments for the player.
I did not talk about the graphics because they are ordinary cartoons and there
is nothing special about them, but I was surprised that the Switch version had
very excellent and smooth performance, despite a slight drop in performance
in crowded places.
More than 30 hours spent playing Dragon Quest Treasures, and I enjoyed it a lot,
even after completing the story phase, as it has a lot of content, but if you are looking
for a great experience like Dragon Quest 11, you will not find it here, but rather
a Pokemon-like game with the spirit of the Dragon Quest series.
