Stunning stories are still emerging from the young Norwegian star,
Erling Halland, who dazzled everyone on Tuesday night, with his
team Borussia Dortmund in his Champions League glory.
Halland scored the goals for Dortmund’s victory against Paris Saint-
Germain, but another shot caught the eye “of the Little Ghoul”,
during the blazing match of the 16th round of the Champions
League.
Statistics sites monitored the terrible speed shown by the
Norwegian striker, during one of the meeting footage, as he set out
from his team’s goal for a distance of 60 meters towards the goal of
Saint-Germain, in a record period close to the number of the world
champion in the enemy.
During the counter-attack of Dortmund, Halland took off 60 meters
in just 6.64 seconds at a speed of 36 km per hour, equaling the
speed of the eighth-ranked champion in the World Athletics
Championships final in the 60-meter race.
Halland equaled Jamaican figure Emery Zafir Barnes, the eighth in
the final of the 60-meter World Indoor Championships in Athletics
in 2018, which was held in Birmingham, England.
As for the world champion in the 60-meter race, he is the American
Christian Coleman, who won the race by 6.34 seconds, which is the
world record, a slight difference from the 6.64 seconds needed by
Halland.
Halland’s achievement in speed is impressive, especially given that
the Norwegian striker has a tall length and a heavyweight, as it is
194 cm long and weighs 87 kg.
