After crowning the 34th La Liga title in its history, Real Madrid
will have to pay a large sum to Chelsea, according to the terms
of the contract for Belgian Eden Hazard to join the club.
After seven seasons in Chelsea, Hazard moved from the London
club to “Santiago Bernabeu” last summer for 100 million euros,
as well as some of the commitments that Real Madrid pays
if his new player contributes to the titles.
According to the British newspaper “Mirror”, Real Madrid will
pay Chelsea about 35 million euros because of Hazard’s transfer
to his ranks, including 20 million euros after winning the
La Liga title, and 15 million to qualify for the Champions
League next season.
Chelsea will also receive additional funds in the event of Real
Madrid winning the Champions League title, despite
the difficulty of the “Merengue” position, which lost the round
16 leg at home to Manchester City, England, 1-2, while going
back to the match on the seventh of August.
Chelsea are expected to use this sum to boost their ranks,
with midfielder Kay Haverz from Bayer Leverkusen,
and Schuller, Leicester City defender.
Hazard has appeared 16 times with Real Madrid in the Spanish
league this season, during which he scored one goal and made
6 other goals, while he played 5 games in the Champions
League in the white shirt.
