In early August, Apple announced the postponement of the
iPhone 12 phones until at least next October, but it seems that
the date may witness further delays, in light of the exceptional
circumstances of the new Corona epidemic.
According to the expert in “Apple” devices, John Proser, who is
one of the top whistleblowers of technical news, the launch of
the device may delay by an additional month, and this
means that the “iPhone 12 Pro” devices may not see the light until November.
And if this is true, and that is what will likely happen, because
the owner of the leaks achieved an accuracy rate of 100 percent,
earlier, the expectations of Apple’s chief financial officer, Luca
Maysri, who favored the month of October, were too “optimistic”.
The leak indicated that pre-orders will start in the forty-second
week of this year, while the “iPhone 12” phones will be
announced in the forty-third week of 2020.
Apple’s troubles do not stop there, because it faces another
dilemma that could lead to a drop in sales by nearly 30 percent,
as a result of upcoming decisions in the White House.
Speaking to reporters, US President Donald Trump confirmed
his intention to impose a ban on deals between US companies
and the Chinese-owned TikTok and WeChat, and this matter
would not be in the interest of Apple.
China constitutes a market of 44 billion dollars for Apple, and a
third of all iPhone sales in the world are in this Asian country.
However, a recent Bloomberg survey revealed that 95 percent of
Chinese respondents prefer to give up their iPhones if they do
not find the WeChat application, which is of great importance in China.
The “WeChat” application is more than a messaging platform in
China, because used in various matters such as electronic
shopping, bill payments and playing games, especially since
Google, Twitter and YouTube banned in China.
When Trump asked about the possible impact of this ban on
“Apple” and sales of “iPhone” phones, he seemed to
underestimate the matter, and the press replied “Whatever
the matter,” meaning that he is indifferent to the consequences.
Apple has been announcing new iPhones in September, and pre-
orders usually launched a week in advance.
