Press reports expected the failure of the transfer of
French forward Saint-Germain striker Killian Mbappe to
Real Madrid in the coming season, according to French
media reports.
The French website “Le Ten Sport” mentioned that Paris
Saint-Germain is planning to extend the Mbabe contract,
which expires in the summer of 2022, until 2025.
The French club was not satisfied with that, but rather
plans to double the salary that Mbabi currently receives,
in an attempt to block the way for any club that wishes
to include him in the future, particularly in the next
summer transfers.
Mbappi’s annual salary with Saint Germain is currently
around 20 million euros. And if the club doubles its
salary to keep it in its ranks, it seems difficult to move.
Paris Saint-Germain confirmed its desire to retain striker
Mbappe, 21, as several clubs, including Real Madrid,
sought to include the player who showed remarkable
distinction in record time with the club.
Real Madrid is showing a strong desire to contract
Mbappe during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Paris Saint-Germain administration has spoken to
Mbappe recently about the renewal of his contract, but
the club has not received an answer from the player,
who recently expressed a desire for a new experience.
