The NBA decided on Wednesday evening to suspend the
regular season “until further notice”, due to the French
Utah Jazz player Rudi Goubert infected with the
new Corona virus, according to the ESPN revealed.
The association said in a statement that it “decided to
stop playing after the games that scheduled until
further notice,” adding that “the association will take
advantage of this suspension to determine the next steps
to move forward with regard to the epidemic of the
Corona virus.”
The association made the decision immediately after the
suspension of the scheduled match between Utah Jazz
and its Oklahoma City Thunder host, at a time when
informed sources told the “ISBN” network that Robert’s
infection with the virus was the reason behind the
decision to suspend the match and then the entire regular
season.
