In a new chapter in the Brazilian series “Rebellion” in Paris Saint-Germain, the Brazilian star decided to be absent from his team’s league match, two days after his “boisterous” birthday party.
Neymar will be absent from his Paris Saint-Germain match against Nantes in the French League competition on Tuesday, 48 hours after his “boisterous” birthday party, which he held at a night club in Paris.
The coach of the French champion, Thomas Tuchel, expressed his professorship from the grand ceremony, which came days before confronting Nantes in the league.
“This is not the best way to prepare for a match, but it is not the worst thing in the world,” Tokhel said.
He added: “This party made it difficult for me to protect the players. It allowed people to attack us. We have to adapt to the issue. But I will not sit on the players who attended the party on the bench.”
Neymar will be absent from the match because of “a rib injury”, which is the official reason for the absence, with growing doubts that the tumultuous party is the reason he did not submit to preparing for the match, and thus absent himself from participating in the match.
Several football stars attended Neymar’s birthday party, Sunday, at a night club near the Eiffel Tower, most notably Uruguayan Edinson Cavani, Italian Marco Ferrari, and Dutchman Memphis Depay.
Neymar has previously sparked controversy over his tumultuous parties, during his time with Paris Saint-Germain, most notably his sister’s birthday party, which coincided with his injury before confronting the important team in the Champions League last season, against Manchester United.
