In a recent statement to the GameStop store chain, the
chain classified itself as one of the “primary” stores
exempt from the recent ban measures to restrict the
spread of Corona Virus, forcing its employees to work
for the same usual working hours, with assurance to
many employees that the various branches do not have
the health facilities Necessary.
The statement has received many criticisms on social
media, and the Department of Stores in the US state of
California has announced that it has closed all its
branches in the state until further notice, and we do not
know whether the chain branches in the other states will
take the same action.
