Barcelona team officials have begun to focus on the list of
players who will be hired in preparation for the next season,
after resolving the crisis of Argentine star Lionel Messi.
Messi eventually decided to stay within the walls of the Catalan
club, and on Monday returned to his first individual training
with the club.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Marca, the club’s
technical management led by Ronald Koeman has put a group
of names on its radar on the horizon of contracting with her
during the summer Mercato.
The source explained that Koeman gives priority in signings to
the players, one in the center of attack and the other in defense.
In this regard, Barcelona is mainly targeting the player Lotaro
Martinez, who informed his Italian team Inter Milan of his
desire to leave for “Camp Nou”.
The Italian team does not appear ready to accept any offer of
less than 111 million euros.
Striker Memphis Depay, who previously played for Koeman in
the Dutch national team, also remains an option on the table.
In the defense center, Barcelona is in advanced negotiations to
sign Erik Garcia from Manchester City.
But according to Marca, negotiations between the two parties
may take a longer time to reach a final agreement.
