The first leak about the iPhone 15: An amendment fixes the historical defect
Although the upcoming announcement of the iPhone 15 will most likely
be next September, the leaks started very early on its specifications and
potential modifications.
And according to new leaks, Apple is working on significant improvements
to reduce power consumption and increase battery life thanks to the processor
manufactured by the Taiwanese chip maker (TSMC).
According to a report by Bloomberg, the A17 Bionic processor will have a precision
of 3 nanometers, compared to the previous generation, which had a precision
of 5 nanometers.
(TSMC) says that the A17 Bionic chip will use about 35% less energy compared
to the previous generation, which means an increase in battery life compared
to the current iPhone 14 phones, and confirmed that the chip will provide better
performance while increasing efficiency in energy consumption at the same time.
And if Apple follows the old approach, it is likely that only the iPhone 15 Pro and
Pro max will get the new chip, which means that the standard iPhone 15 will use
the current year’s chip (A16 Bionic).
Among the rumors that have spread over the past period is that the iPhone 15 phones
will get improvements in the camera sensor that will make it able to take photos and
videos in difficult conditions.
There was also talk that some iPhone 15 models would come with touch buttons for
power and volume instead of the current physical buttons.
