An Arab club makes a fictional offer to include Ronaldo
The news about the possibility of the departure of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo
from the ranks of Manchester United is still in the headlines of sports reports,
the latest of which is a talk about a tempting offer from a Saudi team for
the “Madeira missile”.
After Ronaldo announced his dissatisfaction with the ambition of his current team,
and his intention to leave in search of a place to achieve his football dreams, news
spread that a Saudi club had made a huge financial offer of 300 million euros,
in order to include the Portuguese star in its ranks.
According to the Portuguese network, “CNN”, the offer submitted by the Saudi club
to Ronaldo, will give Manchester United 30 million euros in exchange for the transfer.
As for Ronaldo, he will receive 250 million euros in salaries divided over two seasons,
while his agent will receive 20 million euros.
And sports reports had indicated that Ronaldo’s agent communicated with major clubs
in Europe, with the aim of contracting with the player, including Bayern Munich, Italy,
Inter Milan and Chelsea.
Dutch coach Eric Ten Hag, who was recently appointed to lead Manchester United,
surprised everyone with “stern” statements about the Portuguese star, saying in a press
conference Monday: “Ronaldo is not for sale. He is in our plans, and he is not with us
now because he is facing family problems.” We are planning for next season with Ronaldo.”
He added, “How can we make Ronaldo happy? I don’t really know .. I am looking forward
to working with him.”
Ten Hag confirmed that he spoke with Ronaldo upon his arrival at the club, and the latter
did not inform him of his desire to leave the club, and that he heard about the case later in the press.
