The Argentine news agency, “TC Surts”, exploded a big surprise
by revealing that Lionel Messi had decided to leave Barcelona this season.
The Argentine “TC Sport” website said that Messi officially
informed the Barcelona management that he had decided to
cancel his contract with the team, and that he would not
continue with his team next season.
Argentine journalist Alfredo Martinez confirmed the news,
noting that Messi’s decision is “final and irreversible,” and that
he will not attend the upcoming medical examinations of the
team’s players, nor the next training camp.
The Argentine star was scheduled to make his decision on
staying or leaving today, Tuesday, after a modest season for the
team, which ended with a “humiliating” defeat at the hands of
Bayern Munich, 2-8 in the Champions League.
The news represents a great shock to Barcelona fans in
