Chelsea qualified for the FA Cup semi-finals after a 1-0 victory
over Leicester thanks to Ross Barclay’s goal on Sunday.
Barclay was one of three changes for coach Frank Lampard
between the two halves and managed to leave a mark by
scoring the only goal in the 63rd minute.
Leicester was the best party before the break and made more
than one chance, but Chelsea’s performance improved a lot
in the second half.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham scored a goal canceled due to
offside before Barclay used a Willian pass and hit goalkeeper
Casper Schmeichel.
Chelsea join Manchester United and Arsenal in the semifinals.
Later in the day, a Newcastle United match against Manchester
City will take place to determine the last team to advance to
the Golden Square.
