Bloober Team Rejected SAW Game Project for Blair Witch Development
In an interview with the Bloober Team and specifically its Executive Director Piotr Bobiano by the IGN team,
he explained how they rejected the SAW game project for the Blair Witch game where he said:
I was working with our good partner, the United Talent Agency.
We were meeting many people in the industry from Hollywood. UTA is very well known and
has good relationships with all major film studios.
So We talked to several studios and some of them came to us and said well you guys focused on horror and
we want to work with you.
But the licensors were very frank, we would like to develop the game and we would like the game to be in 2021 to
coincide with the release of our film and we said well that’s not what we would like to do.
however The director went on to speak that the company met with team members and gave them three options to work on,
all of which were titles of horror, the three titles were Blair Witch and SAW and finally Shainsaw Mascara Game
quoted as well for a movie and of course the team chose the first game.
Recently, there have been many rumors that the Bloober Team is currently working on a Silent Hill 2 game remic
then that it has secured a secret deal with Sony and Konami
