Brazilian star Rivaldo has stated that Lionel Messi may end his
football career with a very exciting step, by playing alongside
his traditional opponent Cristiano Ronaldo in Juventus, Italy.
The newspaper “Daily Mail” quoted Rivaldo as saying in press
statements that Messi is not satisfied with the situation in
Barcelona, especially after the sale of Arthur Melo to Juventus,
the Italian champion for 72 million euros, in addition to the
Catalan team seeking to restore Neymar, Paris S.G star.
Rivaldo pointed out that all these circumstances make the
transfer deal for Messi to Juventus possible, to be one of the
strangest deals in the history of football.
He added: “The mediators in the world of football will strive to
complete such a dream. Despite the large amount that might cost
Juventus to get Messi services, he will gain a lot from his
presence through player-related marketing contracts.”
“Many Juventus sponsors want to see the two stars together in
one team, and such a deal will support the Italian club’s budget
. The clubs will compete for the inclusion of Messi amid rumors
that he is talking about his desire to leave the Blaugrana,”
Rivaldo added.
The Brazilian star indicated that Messi’s departure from
Barcelona may be behind several reasons, some of which remain
unknown to keep silent, while we can guess the motives behind
the problems experienced by the Catalan club during the past
few months.
He concluded his speech by saying, that leaving Messi for his
club now will enable him to play in European leagues such as
the Italian and even the English, as it could constitute with Pep
Guardiola a wonderful duo as they did when they were in
the Spanish team.
