Since retiring from football in 2014,
former international Adriano has been involved in gang life in his country, Brazil,
to spread the news of his death by gunmen a few days ago.
However, the former scorer decided to deny the rumors by posting a photo of him on his Instagram site,
in which he appeared smiling, as he appeared to grow old.
Adriano wrote on the photo: “I am alive while I’m at home”,
before he posted another picture of him lying in bed.
Adriano became famous for being one of the best strikers in the world,
during his game with Inter Milan, between 2004 and 2008.
Adriano was part of a “golden” Brazilian generation,
along with Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka and other stars,
but he got involved in the underworld in Brazil’s neighborhoods after his formal retirement in 2014.
