Belgian Leandro Trossard scored a hat-trick to give Brighton & Hove Albion

a 3-3 draw with struggling Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Coach Roberto de Zerpe started his career with Brighton perfectly, and went

ahead with two goals through Trossard in the first 17 minutes to stun Anfield.

The frustration of the home fans increased with Liverpool’s failure to create

dangerous opportunities, before Roberto Firmino scored the first goal,

although it was canceled at the beginning due to the infiltration of Mohamed Salah,

and before the video assistant referee calculated it in the 33rd minute.

Brighton caused more problems for Liverpool at the start of the second half,

but Firmino equalized from inside the penalty area after a pass from Luis Diaz in the 54th minute.

Liverpool completed the comeback and looked set to emerge victorious after

a mediocre start to the season when Adam Webster accidentally netted his

own goal in the 63rd minute.

But Trossard continued to shine and took advantage of Virgil van Dijk’s failure

to clear the ball and scored from close range to equalize, and Brighton maintains

its position in fourth place, four points behind ninth-placed Liverpool.

Liverpool suffered a new blow in the title struggle, as it is 11 points behind the leaders Arsenal.

In another match, Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-1.

Conor Callagher scored a last-minute goal to guide Chelsea to victory over

Crystal Palace, who was on loan last season, and the team achieved its first

victory in the Premier League under coach Graham Potter.

Callagher, who was well received by the fans during the warm-up period,

received a pass from fellow substitute Christian Pulisic and cleared the ball

for himself and then fired a powerful shot past goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

Prior to that, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had taken advantage of a header

from Thiago Silva and scored his first goal with Chelsea in the 38th minute

to equalize after Odson Edward gave Palace the lead with a goal in the seventh minute.

Potter’s team remains eight points behind leaders Arsenal, but has one game in hand.
