In an official statement, Activision confirmed the launch of the anticipated
shooting game Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in the market:
Activision today officially announced the global launch of the much-anticipated
Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War series, the new version of the strongest
and # 1 best-selling series in Call of Duty games, and this new part is a
direct sequel to the original game that has been admired by players around
the world, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Black Ops Cold War will take its fans
deep into the volatile Cold War battlefield of the early 1980s.
In the course of the story, players will fight a decades-long plan to shake
the global balance of power and change the course of history, with famous
characters in the game such as Woods, Hudson, and Mason, in addition to
a new group of characters.
The game also offers a new generation of multiplayer mode, which
includes an arsenal of weapons and equipment famous for the Cold War
segment and many different maps and game modes.
In addition, the game developed from the zombie mode through a new
cooperative experience feature and survival mode.
Black Ops Cold War supports gameplay between different platforms and
shared generations across platforms, as well as joint progression
between various games, and players look forward to the largest free
content after launch in Black Ops history through multiplayer and zombies,
in addition to a calendar full of community events.
Black Ops Cold War includes development features in common with Warzone
by adding stock gear that can be used in both games.
Additionally, Warzone players will still be able to access Modern Warfare®
content that they previously earned, such as new Operators and
Weapon Blueprints.
