Cancel the Russian Version of the” Gotham Knights”
According to some reports, Warner Bros has completely cancelled the Russian version of its upcoming
game Gotham Knights.
As published on The Happy Warrior website, which obtained information from informed sources according
to his claim, the publishing company decided to cancel the marketing and support plan of the
Gotham Knights game dedicated to Russia, including the cancellation of translation and audio dubbing
support in the local language, as well as the cancellation of the plan to publish and distribute the game
to local stores there.
According to VGC, the Russian version of Gotham Knights on the official website, which can still be seen
via archive.org, now displays a 404 error when accessed, referring to the start of removing custom content
with the online version.
If the Russian version is already suspended, this will make Warner Bros the first toy company to withdraw an
address from sale in Russian territory after the ongoing war in Ukraine.
It will not stop here, as the source confirmed that the game copies intended for other regions will remove the translation of the Russian language.
In previous news, officially announced that they will not release the Gotham Knights game on last
generation PlayStation 4 Xbox One devices. The developer stated that the abandonment of the last generation
version despite the great fanbase there and stability on the new generation PlayStation 5 Xbox Sears, came
because of the focus on providing the best possible playing experience to the public.
The game will be released on new generation devices and PC on October 25, 2022
