CAPCOM changes Street Fighter 6 Logo after Fans Criticize
Recently, through the PlayStation State of Play event, we were able to take a fresh look at the famous Street
Fighter 6 fight game. Although CAPCOM announced the game earlier this year, we have recently been able
to watch the style of play and learn about some new changes, most notably the game’s critical logo!.
The most important point criticized by the audience was the game logo that appeared in the first announcement
earlier this year, which was devoid of any creations as described by fans, and was even quoted from the
art clippings available online. But CAPCOM and through the new game reveal showed the new modified logo.
Although it seemed highly suitable for the game, it is not much different from the original logo, as the initials of the
game name SF, which was the previous logo, were replaced by the number 6 with some special touches,
and the fiery effect through the orange around the number 6 with the name of the game Street Fighter appearing
above the logo. You can see an image comparing the new logo on the right with the previous logo on the left below.
Street Fighter 6 will launch next year 2023 on PlayStation Xbox and PC, but the game has not received a specific
launch date until the time of writing.
Other changes in Street Fighter 6
Besides modifying the critical game logo, some extensions have also been confirmed in the game story compared
to the previous part, most notably the Hub Area that allows players to navigate and have new and deeper storytelling
events than before.
In terms of graphics, although the game will be released on the new generation as well, it has not seen much change
as developers will rely on the use of Cell Shaded watercolor-like tags as it was in Part V with some improvements to
the level of saturation of colors and show more details in character designs.
In terms of combat movements, with the emergence of new personalities, there is certainly an expansion of the
fighting system and the execution of combat movements, especially for new personalities.
Now that the logo has been modified compared to the previous logo,
do you think it fits into the Street Fighter 6 game?
